Mobilisation

MUD BOSS TRANSPORT

One of the biggest benefits to using the Mud Boss amphibious excavator is that it can be transported on a single low loader. Its narrow transport width of just 3.5m means that no escort or pilot vehicle is required on most public roads. Once at site, the excavator can walk off the transport float and go directly to work, no assembly required.

On completion of the job, a flick of a switch in the operator’s cabin narrows the tracks from their operating width of 5.5m to 3.5m. The machine is walked onto the float and driven away. Dredges and other amphibious machines involve hefty mobilisation costs for multiple transport floats and cranes to assemble and disassemble.

The cost savings on both transport and set up time mean that the Mud Boss all-terrain amphibious excavator is ideal for both short and long term jobs.
